We have assembled an impressive array of global and local speakers who will present solutions to how Nigeria can avoid food inflation and scarcity as a result of conflict in various parts of the country.
Nigeria is facing challenges. Nigeria will emerge better and stronger from these challenges that affect our Food security and the growth of the sector. Our challenges have happened elsewhere and resolved.
KEYNOTE will be by James Brett.
James came to global prominence as the founder of Plant for Peace.
Plant for Peace is an initiative designed specifically to assist rural communities and smallholder farmers in conflict and post conflict territories around the world to achieve food security and sustainable economic development thereby contributing to stability by empowering communities to become self sufficient through sustainable agriculture and trade.
James will not only be speaking of how he earned a global reputation through his incredible work in Afghanistan, he will be sharing solutions for Nigeria and importantly looking to meet with stakeholders on how we can import funding to help strengthen the supply chain and therefore trade. He has done this before.
Other local and international speakers will present opinions and solutions and there will be a question and answer session with the audience encouraged to participate. The day will also include a cultural performance on stage from a Nigerian dance troupe of performing arts.
