COVID 19

2nd March, 2020

The World now battles with the COVID-19 pandemic that is devastating much of Humanity.

North America and Europe continue to experience massive fatalities. African countries and others are beginning to report its impact on the continent and must now prepare to survive the attendance of the Virus.

We send our condolences to the families who have lost members and our sympathies extent to all those experiencing illness and emotional struggles.

Obviously, there is now a near total cessation of all businesses and commercial activities as Governments around the world introduce ‘lock-downs’ and social distancing policies in a bid to contain the spread of this highly contagious virus.

AIP BOESS’ businesses have been particularly hit and our operations have been forced to a near total shut down. The nature of our businesses mean that we undertake out-of-office activities with farmers and other stake holders and considerable travel inter-state and overseas is involved. Our Commodity trading businesses specializes in export – we are currently unable to undertake this activity. As good corporate citizens, our businesses will continue to comply with all Government guidance and restrictions on movement. We urge everyone to respect the advice and instructions from authorities as we all play our part in making sure that we defeat this unseen and dangerous enemy.

AIP BOESS is financially robust. We will survive this unexpected turbulence. As soon as it is possible, we look forward to welcoming back our associates, partners, collaborators, customers and other stakeholders in a renewed push to write ‘A New African Story on Agriculture’ ANASA.

The leadership of the Company is developing our own Social Impact contributions to our constituencies in the all important Agricultural and Food production sectors. The value chain is experiencing much pressure.

In the meantime, we pray that God gives global leadership and national Governments the wisdom to enact the right solutions that will save the world and stem the loss of life whilst preparing for the economic impact that will be felt in the coming months and years.

See you all on the other side.

STAYING SAFE SAVES LIVES!!
